Shakespeare in the Parks presents The Merry Wives of Windsor

See The Merry Wives of Windsor at Sanders Park in Worland, WY
on July 15th!

Rumor has it that Queen Elizabeth herself commissioned this play because
she wanted to see the “fat knight in love”. In Merry Wives, Shakespeare’s
lovable loser, Falstaff tries to seduce Mistress Page and Mistress Ford,
but is (perhaps unsurprisingly) outsmarted by both.

As always, the performance is completely FREE. Bring a picnic, a blanket,
and enjoy a night of professional theatre under the Big Sky.

You can catch Henry IV Part I in Powell on July 13th.

For a full tour schedule or for more information, visit
http://shakespeareintheparks.org/

Presented by the Washakie Museum and Cultural Center.

Them Coulee Boys

Them Coulee Boys

Them Coulee Boys take the Red Cliff Stage at Ten Sleep Brewing
Co, July 7th @ 7pm. Them Coulee Boys craft a brand of Americana that blends
punk, bluegrass, and rock & roll. Guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, and drum
provide the pulse that drives their original music. They just finished up
their 3rd album (August 2019 release on Lo-Hi Records - Great American
Taxi, Fruition), which was produced by Dave Simonett of Trampled By
Turtles.

Founded in late 2013, Them Coulee Boys have quickly become a force on the
Midwest music scene. Them Coulee Boys live shows are energetic affairs,
with a constant passion and sincerity evident in each song they play. Some
songs it's an infectious stomp, inviting the listener to dance along.
Driving banjo, guitar, mandolin, and bass provide a backdrop for fast-paced
narratives about love and life, ordinary or incredible. Other songs leave
room for space, with ambient electric banjo and finger picked
instrumentation accompany songs dealing with the harsh realities of things
we cannot control. These are songs from a band that is not afraid to take
chances. These are songs from a band that's comfortable stripped down, or
turned way up. These songs are deeply personal and entirely relate-able.
Maybe that's what makes these songs so easy to sing along with, and these
performances so moving. You're invited to feel a whole range of emotions,
and that makes for shows that you won't soon forget.

10 Cent Stranger Takes the Red Cliff Stage August 2nd @ 8 pm!
$8 cover, kids 12 and under are free!
HOME-COOKED IN LARAMIE, WY A MIND-BLOWING MIX OF GENRES “10 Cent Stranger brings an amazing local flavor
to the stage. The group’s brand of folk-Americana is the perfect fit to a
perfect day.” – Beartrap Festival, Casper, WY. The long winters of Laramie
can give rise to some unlikely cerebral creations. Take acoustic
psychedelic Bluegrass, for instance, with a thread throughout of
alt-country and rhythm-and-blues. That’s one of the genres produced by the
band Ten-Cent Stranger during their latest winter companionship. They enjoy
spending time together and creating new music, so they quickly began to
take on a sound and identity of their own. Put them all together and they
create a dynamic live show that critics have called “energetic and
entertaining.”
